| Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults |
|
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey of faith for adults who are thinking about the possibility of becoming Catholic.
Through prayer, study and the experience of Christian Community, an inquirer is guided to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Faith. This process gives people the opportunity to make informed decisions about life as a member of the Catholic Church.
The RCIA is for those who have never been baptized or who are baptized in another faith tradition. Those baptized as Roman Catholic but have never been Confirmed or received First Communion, are also welcome.
If you feel you are being called to experience your faith as Roman Catholic, or know someone who is considering such a change in their life, please contact Ruth Maier, SSJ at 624-4990 for more information.
